About Us

Our Story

Since high school, sewing has been a passion and not just a hobby. My family loves to sew, especially quilting.

With the purchase of a Statler Stitcher in 2007 and the largest available table, we are able to accomodate the largest of quilts including KING SIZE.

Our customers bring us their quilt tops already sewn together complete with borders ready for the final steps. We place the backing fabric, batting and quilt top on the machine and prepare it for the last step.

The magic now begins with the sewing of the quilt pattern. The Statler Stitcher using Creative Studio software allows us to properly size the patterns both to your taste as well as the quilt. With the custom trim feature, we can mark an area where we do not want the machine to sew leaving any embroidery, photos, or other areas unquilted.

Our quilts have also won many ribbons at the local quilt shows.

The final product, a complete quilt that needs only your final touch to sew on the binding.

Custom Quilting with over 10,000 patterns available to choose from.

With the ability to trim around embroidery, photos, buttons or whatever you don't want quilted, we can do it.

Edge to edge quilting. This is your most economical way to finish your quilt and still have a piece of art when completed.

Photo transfer of your favorite photos to fabric so you can sew this right into your quilt to create a lasting family memory for anniversaries, birthdays, weddings or whatever the occasion.

We meet with you personally to pick the backing fabric, patterns, thread color and final design.

Tribute Quilt

Additional Information

The quilt above is dedicated to the loving memory of Garret. Garret is the son of two very special friends Michelle and George. For over two decades he battled with depression.

Garret was known for always helping others before ever helping himself.  He played lead guitar and was a singer in a Heavy Metal band in Pittsburgh. Garret was loved by all and entertained so many.

One night, depression took total control and directed him to take his own life. He left behind his Mother, Father, Sister and girlfriend as well as numerous other friends. Garret had an infectious smile and made so many around him smile. No one would ever have thought that this could happen. He is dearly missed.

His final unselfish act was being an organ donor. His organs were used for nearly 50 people in some way to give them hope and a second chance. He still lives among us in many around us.

No one understands just what depression does to someone but it truly is a disease that needs more attention to find a cure. Research is being done and we encourage anyone interested to donate to help this important cause. Like cancer, depression grows inside until it overtakes all rational thinking.

This guitar quilt was presented to Garret's parents as our way of paying tribute to him and to show our endless love and support to them.
